We had to leave the city center of Dublin during morning rush, all while our driver (Aaron) had to adjust to a stick shift while sitting on the other side of the US version of normal. I must say that he did an impressive job, with only a few scares of being too close to the left edge of the road (both drivers have had a tough time with that).
The true fun came when our second driver took the wheel a little later. He has very little experience with a manual transmission, and, as I’m sure the car’s transmission would agree, it was a rough adjustment for him. More stories will come, and possibly a little video as well. For now, I’m running behind on leaving Galway, as we have a breakfast date for 8:30. I plan to post again either tonight or tomorrow a.m.
